This is the one that won it all. The Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Maestro Box-Pressed Torpedo (6 x 52) was Cigar Aficionado's 2019 Cigar of the Year, rated 96.
It is a Nicaraguan puro, with a dark Nicaraguan wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, blended by Rafael Nodal and made in Nicaragua at A.J. Fernandez's factory. The box press and tapered head focus the draw, so the dark cocoa, espresso and earth come through clearly, with a little pepper on the finish. Medium-full. At about 70 minutes, it is a Weekend Warrior™ on the Burn Clock.
Save it for a night worth remembering. An aged rum or a bourbon fits, and so does a double espresso. Boxes of 20. Explore more Aging Room cigars and top-rated cigars.
