How Oliver’s Secret Stash Works
No codes to hunt down. Just show up Thursday at noon and pounce.
-
Oliver Hides the Stash
All week, Oliver raids the humidor and sets aside a few premium cigars at our deepest discounts. The picks stay under wraps until Thursday.
-
The Cat’s Out of the Bag
At noon Eastern every Thursday, the Secret Stash opens on the site and lands in your inbox if you are on our email list.
-
Pounce Before 9 PM
Deals run until 9 PM Eastern or until each pick sells out, whichever comes first. Quantities are limited on purpose.
Passport Members See It First
Customers with 2 or more orders get a sneak peek at each week’s Secret Stash picks, 24 hours before everyone else. It is one of the perks of the Cigar Nation Passport Program™, our cigar rewards program.
Why Cigar Smokers Come Back Every Thursday
Oliver’s Secret Stash is not a clearance bin. It is the best cigar deal on our site, every single week.
- Our deepest discounts. Up to 30% off premium cigars, lower than any other sale we run, on cigars you will actually want to smoke.
- New picks every week. The Stash changes every Thursday. Different brands, different sizes, different deals.
- Real limited quantities. When a pick is gone, it is gone. Early birds get the best of the Stash.
- Ready for the weekend. Order by 3 PM Eastern and your cigars ship that same day, so Thursday’s deal can be Saturday’s smoke.
Brands Oliver Raids the Humidor For
The Secret Stash pulls from the premium cigar brands we carry. A few of the names you might find when the cat’s out of the bag:
Picks rotate every week, so not every brand appears every Thursday. Browse all of them anytime on our top cigar brands page.
Meet Oliver
Oliver is the Cigar Nation cat. He supervises every shipment, naps on the humidor, and has opinions about wrapper leaf. Every Thursday he takes over the store and decides what goes in the Secret Stash.
He will not tell anyone what is in it before noon, no matter how nicely you ask.
When he is not guarding the Stash, Oliver helps new smokers find their next cigar with our Cigar Finder Quiz and our Burn Clock, which sorts every cigar by how long it actually takes to smoke.
Oliver’s Secret Stash FAQ
Everything you need to know about our weekly cigar flash sale.
Is Oliver’s Secret Stash a flash sale?
Yes. It is a nine-hour cigar flash sale every Thursday, noon to 9 PM Eastern, with up to 30% off Oliver’s picks of the week. Quantities are limited, so when a pick sells out, that deal is over.
When does Oliver’s Secret Stash open?
Every Thursday from noon to 9 PM Eastern (9 AM to 6 PM Pacific). The Secret Stash opens at noon and closes at 9 PM, or earlier if the picks sell out.
What cigars are on sale this week?
That is the secret. Oliver keeps the picks under wraps until noon Eastern on Thursday. Passport members get a sneak peek 24 hours early. The Stash changes every week and can include cigars from any of the brands we carry.
Do Passport members get early access?
Yes. Customers with 2 or more orders are members of our Passport Program and get an email with each week’s picks and prices on Wednesday at noon Eastern, 24 hours before the Stash opens to everyone.
How much can I save in Oliver’s Secret Stash?
Up to 30% off. Thursday deals are the deepest discounts we run on Cigar Nation. The exact savings change with each week’s picks and are shown on every product in the Secret Stash.
How do I make sure I do not miss it?
Join the Cigar Nation email list. Subscribers get the Secret Stash in their inbox right at noon Eastern every Thursday, so you can pounce before the best picks sell out.
Will Secret Stash orders ship the same day?
Yes, if you order by 3 PM Eastern. Orders placed after 3 PM ship the next business morning. See our shipping FAQ for delivery times and the states we ship to.
Can I get a Secret Stash price after 9 PM?
No. At 9 PM the Stash closes, prices go back to normal, and Oliver starts hiding next week’s picks. That is what keeps the deals deep.
