How Your Cigar Wish List Works
- Create your free list. Sign in or create a free Cigar Nation account, then name your list and choose your occasion.
- Add what you want. Cigars, boxes, samplers, cutters, lighters and ashtrays, all picked by you.
- Share it and get gifted. Send your link to family and friends. When someone buys an item, it's marked as purchased so nobody doubles up.
Don't be shy. Add a box of your go-to cigar and the accessories you've had your eye on, and use the Burn Clock™ to mix Quick Smoke, Power Hour and Weekend Warrior cigars, so there's something for a short break and something for a long night.
Cigar Gift Ideas, Explained for Non-Smokers
No wish list to shop from? These gifts for cigar lovers are hard to get wrong. Here's what each one is, in plain English.
- A cigar sampler. A variety pack of different cigars, so they can try several brands. The safest pick when you don't know their favorite. Shop cigar samplers.
- A box of cigars. A full box of one cigar, the gift most smokers never buy for themselves. Best when you know the brand they like. Browse cigar boxes.
- A torch lighter. Cigar smokers prefer torch lighters over regular lighters because they burn hotter and stand up to wind. Shop cigar lighters.
- A cigar cutter. Every cigar has to be cut before it's smoked, and a good cutter makes a clean cut. Shop cigar cutters.
- A cigar ashtray. Built with wide rests made for cigars, perfect for the deck, the patio or the man cave. Shop cigar ashtrays.
- Easygoing, beginner-friendly cigars. Not sure how strong they like them? Milder cigars are the crowd pleaser. Shop beginner cigars or our top rated cigars.
Still stuck? Our cigar finder quiz asks a few quick questions and suggests cigars that fit.

Cigar Wish List and Cigar Gift FAQ
What is a cigar wish list?
It's a list of the cigars and accessories you'd like to receive, saved on Cigar Nation and shared with one link. Your family and friends open the link and buy straight from your list. Some people call it a cigar gift registry. It works the same way.
Is it free to make a cigar wish list?
Yes. Creating and sharing a wish list is free. You'll just need a free Cigar Nation account so you can come back and update your list anytime.
What's a good gift for someone who smokes cigars?
The best gift is the one they picked themselves, which is exactly what a cigar wish list gives you. If they don't have one yet, a variety cigar sampler, a box of a top rated cigar, a torch lighter or a quality cutter are safe bets.
What if I don't know what cigars they like?
Ask them to make a free wish list and send you the link. If you'd rather keep it a surprise, a sampler lets them try several cigars, and accessories like lighters and cutters fit every cigar smoker.
Do I need to know anything about cigars to buy from a wish list?
No. The person you're shopping for already chose everything on the list. Just pick an item and check out.
How do I find someone's cigar wish list?
Open the link they shared with you, or use Find a Wish List to look it up.
What cigar accessories make good gifts?
Torch lighters, cigar cutters and ashtrays are the most popular cigar accessory gifts, because every cigar smoker uses them. Browse all cigar accessories.
Can I ship the gift straight to them?
Yes. You choose the shipping address at checkout, so you can send it directly to them or to yourself to wrap.
Is there an age requirement to buy cigars as a gift?
Yes. Cigar Nation does not sell tobacco products to anyone under 21, and every order, including wish list orders, follows our age verification policy. Some states don't allow cigar shipments, so check our Shipping FAQ before you order.
Will they know what's already been bought?
Yes. Once an item is purchased, it's marked on the list so other shoppers can pick something else.
What's the last day to order cigar gifts for Christmas?
For delivery by Christmas within the contiguous U.S., order by Tuesday, December 15 at 3 PM ET with standard shipping, or by Thursday, December 17 at 3 PM ET with faster shipping selected at checkout. Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky orders can be placed through Monday, December 21 at 3 PM ET.
Can I make a wish list for something other than Christmas?
Absolutely. Birthdays, Father's Day, retirements, weddings, anniversaries or just because, a cigar wish list works for any occasion.
