JFR stands for "Just For Retailers," and that's exactly what it was when Aganorsa Leaf, then still known as Casa Fernandez, introduced it in 2005: a line built for brick-and-mortar shops rather than a national release.

It didn't stay exclusive for long. Owner Eduardo Fernandez controls Aganorsa's Nicaraguan tobacco from seed to finished leaf on his own farms, which let JFR offer big ring gauges and pigtail-cap construction at prices well below what that much tobacco usually commands.
