Padrón was founded in 1964, and the Anniversary line honors that year. The Padron 1964 Anniversary Imperial Maduro (6 x 54) is a box-pressed toro that Cigar Aficionado rated 93 in 2020.
It is a Nicaraguan puro, with a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper in maduro over Nicaraguan binder and filler, made in Nicaragua. Dark chocolate, espresso, cedar and sweet earth, full-bodied and smooth. At about 75 minutes, it is a Weekend Warrior on the Burn Clock.
