More room for the bolder Macanudo. The Macanudo Cru Royale Toro (6 x 54) takes the Cru Royale blend, a dark Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Dominican binder with Brazilian, Dominican and Nicaraguan filler, and gives it a wide toro frame, made in the Dominican Republic.
The 54 ring keeps the smoke cool and brings out the sweetness, so the cocoa and cedar read a little richer than in the Robusto, with earthy spice behind them. Medium-bodied. At about 70 minutes, it is a Weekend Warrior on the Burn Clock.
