Arturo Fuente Hand of Time Ceramic Cigar Ashtray - 4 Cigars, 8.5" Round, Black

The Hand of Time is Arturo Fuente's own emblem, and this is the piece the family put it on. That makes it as much a collector's item as an ashtray.

As an object it is 8.5 inches of ceramic, finished in black with gold detail, with four wide cigar rests and a bowl deep enough for a long session. Ceramic behaves differently from metal: it is heavier for its size so it does not move, and it does not conduct heat, so the rim stays cool to the touch no matter how long a cigar has been sitting in it. It is an indoor piece. Use it in a study or a lounge, not on a patio where it can be knocked off a rail. For a Fuente smoker, it is the obvious centerpiece.

• Four wide cigar rests, deep bowl
