The Arturo Fuente Rosado Sungrown Magnum R 58 (5 1/4 x 58) is the torpedo of the Magnum R line, and that tapered head is the point: it gathers the smoke and sends the flavor straight to the front of the palate.
The blend matches its siblings, an aged Ecuadorian Rosado sun grown wrapper over Dominican binder and filler from the Dominican Republic. Like the 44, its squared sides come from tight packing in the box rather than a deliberate press. Expect cinnamon and toasted almond up front, sweet cedar and cream behind them, all at a medium body. About 65 minutes, the long end of Power Hour on the Burn Clock.
Same blend as the Magnum R 44, Cigar Aficionado's No. 6 Cigar of 2016 (94). After dinner, reach for a cognac or a dark ale; earlier in the day, a cappuccino. Boxes of 25. Explore more Arturo Fuente cigars.
