Xikar VX2 V-Cut Cutter - 64 Gauge, Red

The red VX2 V-Cut is the grab-and-go version of Xikar's V-cutter: a solid metal body, a bright finish you will not lose in a bag, and the same cutting mechanism as the rest of the line.

Squeeze both side release buttons and the spring-loaded head snaps open to a 64 ring gauge bowl. Seat the cap, press closed, and you get a deep, centered wedge. The inverted stainless blade pulls inward during the cut instead of pushing out, which prevents the cap from expanding and splitting. That is the whole reason a good V-cut opens airflow without threatening the wrapper. Notches in the blade trench let the closed cutter work as a cigar stand.
