The Xi80 exists because ring gauges got bigger. Most guillotine cutters top out around 60, which leaves anyone smoking a 60, 64, or 70 ring gordo trying to cut a cigar that will not fit the bowl. This one takes cigars up to 80 ring gauge.

It uses a closed back, meaning the cigar seats against a stop rather than passing through, so you remove a precise amount of cap every time instead of guessing at depth. That matters more on big cigars, where an overcut has more wrapper to unravel.
