Alma del Fuego is grown on Ometepe, a volcanic island in Lake Nicaragua, and the Plasencia Alma del Fuego Concepcion Toro (6 x 54) was Cigar Aficionado's No. 13 Cigar of 2019, rated 93.
It is a Nicaraguan puro, with a Nicaraguan wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, made in Nicaragua. Earthy spice, roasted nuts, cocoa and a natural sweetness, full-bodied. At about 70 minutes, it is a Weekend Warrior on the Burn Clock.
